Red Light

Why be red,

tell everyone, going nowhere

warn the place, where we crash

crossed roads share in destiny

The mountains that pour us

down broiling river conjecturesImage

avoiding hard knocks and jagged edges

rushing by, or meeting by accident

There’s no light to stop us

with a tide of life that goes

wilder in the wider flows

the land is the hand of fate

knowing It isn’t love or hate

That’s what we hold on to

Or take away from a chance

tumbling through intersections
